Where We Started
Sealco’s roots trace back to a 1960s NAPA auto parts store, where founder Jeff Modde first learned the fundamentals of coatings while mixing automotive paint for his father. Building on that early experience, Jeff went into business for himself and through the 1970s he built a reputation as the go to company for specialized industrial services that required precision, durability, and strict quality standards.
Sealco was formed in 1993 to apply that same problem-solving approach to large-scale infrastructure. The company emerged from an era where efficiency at scale required building the right equipment for the job and specifying materials capable of performing in demanding environments.

Sealco’s mission is to protect large industrial and commercial facilities through reliable roof sealants and coatings, durable floor systems, and disciplined facility maintenance. We focus on stopping leaks, extending roof life, and restoring concrete and floor surfaces so operations stay safe and uninterrupted.
We deliver this work through an inspection-led process with clear documentation, practical recommendations, and options-based scopes that fit the facility’s priorities. Our crews coordinate around production needs, work safely and professionally, and provide consistent communication from assessment through closeout.
Today
Sealco continues to operate as a family-owned business under the leadership of Eric and Luke. Having grown within the company, they carry forward the problem-solving mindset, mechanical expertise, and coating knowledge that has defined Sealco from the beginning.
